Vintage barkcloth fabric red leaf

  • Vintage barkcloth fabric beige from the mid-century 1950s 1960s
  • 100% cotton fabric from the late 1950s, early 1960s
  • Fabric is medium weight
  • White base with grey mottled background and grey leaves. Bright red and orange leaves printed on top with a dark green leaf and vine. Leaves measure 10 to 15cm across
  • Measures 119 cm wide x 105cm long, remnant piece
  • Would work really well made into soft furnishings such as cushions or for dressmaking
  • Fabric hasn’t been tested but I have washed a sample. Wash at 30 degrees with a lower spin cycle around 800. Use non-biological detergent. Do not tumble dry. Iron medium or hot.
  • It is in good condition but has two small marks. Please see the last two photos. One is a small brown mark less than 1cm in diameter. The other is a 2cm long mark in dark grey, could be candle wax. Otherwise it is in good condition.

Returns, Terms & Conditions

If you change your mind about your Olive Road purchase or once you receive it, it isn’t what you expected, don’t worry, I accept returns and issue a refund with these conditions:

  • You have within 24 hours of ordering to change your mind and cancel your order before I dispatch it. I will issue a full refund as long as it is before the item has been dispatched.
  • Once the item has been dispatched, you have 7 days in which to contact me to let me know you no longer want the item or you have changed your mind.
  • You then have a further 7 days in which to send it back to me.
  • As soon as it is returned and I am happy with the condition I will issue a refund.
  • The customer pays for the return shipping (postage) costs. No returns for customers outside of the UK.
