Winter in London: Trouser pattern

Winter in London is a flattering pair of wide leg trousers which have a classic yet relaxed vibe. Designed to flatter the natural feminine figure, the trousers sit comfortably on the waist whilst the loose wide leg gives a lovely laid back feel. with front and back darts adding shaping at the waist, a concealed zip securing the trousers at the centre back and a facing finishing the trousers neatly at the waist, these can be sewn with the minimum of fuss.

Sizing

Summer in London comes in UK sizes 8 to 20. to find find out which size you will ned to make, please refer to the size guide provided in your pattern.

Fabric Requirements

  • 115cm wide fabric you will need a 2.6 metre length
  • 150cm wide fabric  you will need a 2.5 metre length

Equipment required

  • Sewing thread (polyester / all sew)
  • Dressmaker pins
  • Scissors (fabric and paper)
  • Sewing machine
  • Unpicker
  • Iron and ironing board
  • 10″ concealed zip
  • Concealed zip foot + regular zip foot
  • 40cm of fusible interfacing in a similar weight to the fabric

About Seasons of East

An independent pattern company run by sisters Carol and Barbara. I met them at the Knitting & Stitching Show in October 2021 and loved their patterns. The clean designs that champion vintage fabrics. The designs are classic but definitely have a nod to vintage style, this t-shirt reminds me of the relaxed styles of the 1980s. Returns, Terms & Conditions

If you change your mind about your Olive Road purchase or once you receive it, it isn’t what you expected, don’t worry, I accept returns and issue a refund with these conditions:

  • You have within 24 hours of ordering to change your mind and cancel your order before I dispatch it. I will issue a full refund as long as it is before the item has been dispatched.
  • Once the item has been dispatched, you have 7 days in which to contact me to let me know you no longer want the item or you have changed your mind.
  • You then have a further 7 days in which to send it back to me.
  • As soon as it is returned and I am happy with the condition I will issue a refund.
  • The customer pays for the return shipping (postage) costs.
