Fabric Requirements –

Refer to chart (in  photos) for fabric requirements, these are a quick guideline but each design within the pattern has different requirements.

• 115cm wide fabric you will need a 3.10 metre length
• 150cm wide fabric  you will need a 2.10 metre length

Suitable Fabric

• Light to medium weight knit (stretch) fabric. Your fabric should have at least 40% stretch across the width and a good recovery. Repeating patterns, one-way directional prints, check or stripe matching may take more fabric.
• Please note that most of the knit/stretch fabrics I sell are without elastane as they were made before elastane was a popular addition to fabrics. However, many of them have a good stretch and I describe the stretch in the fabric description. If are not sure, please get in touch and I can give you some advice on if one of my fabrics is right for this pattern.

Equipment required

• Sewing thread (polyester / all sew)
• Ball point pins and sewing needle (for jersey)
• Scissors (fabric and paper)
• Sewing machine
• Unpicker
• Iron and ironing board
• Light weight stretch fusible interfacing 9 x 5cm
• Shirring elastic versions C&D (I have lots of this that I haven’t listed yet, please let me know if you need some)
