Part one of my Norfolk stash of vintage fabrics
I hope you managed to get some time off this summer to enjoy some sunshine. I spent my holiday in sunny Norfolk and did rather a lot of vintage fabric shopping. I was sad to find a couple of my favourite antique shops had shut down, thankfully I discovered some new places to shop. I’m excited to say that I have a great stash of vintage fabrics ready for your Autumn sewing. I’m only holding half of the vintage fabric stash in the photo. Looking at it all together, I don’t know how I managed to fit it into my little Fiat 500 along with our luggage! I hope you like the fabrics. The second stash will be released next month. Sign up to my newsletter to buy from preview 24 hours before the fabrics are released on my online fabric shop.
Sewing Inspiration
Autumn colours mix beautifully in this vibrant print by Rose & Hubble in their London Collection. The fabric would look beautiful made into this dress by pattern company Seasons of East. Called Summer in London it would work for a warm Autumn day teamed with a cardigan, add tights when it gets a bit chillier. There is 3m of the fabric available, just enough to make this gorgeous dress. Both fabric and pattern are available on my online fabric shop. Shop here for Seasons of East patterns.
