• 1 reel of recycled polyester thread in a matching colour

Spring in London is the perfect slouchy, relaxed t-shirt. Designed to delicately drape off of one shoulder, an elegant feel is given to a classic wardrobe staple whilst the loose fit is flattering for so many body shapes. With grown on sleeves and the neckline finished with a simple neckband, there are no tricky techniques to worry about making this the ideal project for those new to sewing.

Sizing

Spring in London comes in UK sizes 8 to 20. to find find out which size you will ned to make, please refer to the size guide provided in your pattern.

Fabric Requirements (included in kit, this is for future reference)

• 115cm wide fabric with a direction in the print you will need a 2 metre length
• 115cm wide fabric plain or no direction in the print you will need a 1.6 metre length
• 150cm wide fabric which has a direction in the print you will need a 2 metre length
• 150cm wide fabric which has no direction in the print you will need 1.6 metre length

Suitable Fabric

• Suitable for any light to medium weight knitted fabric with a drape and stretch

Equipment required

• Sewing thread (polyester / all sew) 1 reel included in kit
• Dressmaker pins
• Scissors (fabric and paper)
• Sewing machine
• Unpicker
• Iron and ironing board
• Ball point needle (best to use for jersey fabrics)

An independent pattern company run by sisters Carol and Barbara. I met them at the Knitting & Stitching Show in October 2021 and loved their patterns. The clean designs that champion vintage fabrics. The designs are classic but definitely have a nod to vintage style, this t-shirt reminds me of the relaxed styles of the 1980s.
