My vintage fabric shop is online and you can find me at sewing and fabric events throughout the year. I have a small studio fabric store at Craft Central in London’s Docklands that you can also visit. I’m at my studio on Tuesdays, Thursdays and most Saturdays. Please let me know you are coming so I can make sure I am there. Sign up for my newsletter for details of events taking place at the studios.

Part of Craft Central, I’m surrounded by friendly creatives and a changing gallery space. I have some of my vintage fabric stock on display and lots more in storage. Please get in touch if you would like to visit. Let me know what you are looking for and I’ll make sure there is plenty of fabrics to choose from. I’ll tidy up and put the kettle on! Closest station is Island Gardens on the DLR, 277 and D7 bus stops.

The Knitting & Stitching Show

I’m not exhibiting at the show this Autumn but I am teaching a sewing workshop. Learn to make a vintage style apron. Book here or scroll down for more details. Find me at the Knitting and Stitching show on the 6th October (Ally Pally, London). At 4pm I’ll be sharing my scrap busting ideas at the Creative Living Theatre. The talk is free and there is no need to book. You will need an entry ticket to the show. Use the code WT22 to get £1.50 off the price of a ticket.

Thursday 6 October, 2pm

This one hour workshop combines the key elements of following a pattern, constructing a garment using a sewing machine including attaching a waistband and top stitching ribbon. It is pitched at beginners and those who want to improve their sewing skills. Everything is provided for you to leave the workshop with a half apron made form vintage fabric. Using vintage fabric is a fun way to be sustainable by using pre-loved fabrics that would otherwise end up in landfill. The fabrics have all been pre-washed and will be cut ready for the workshop. Choose from a variety of designs. Suitable for beginner and intermediate sewists.

Cost: £19 including all materials, entry ticket also required at an additional cost. Use the code WT22 to get £2 off adult and concession tickets. Booking fees apply.
