Paper patterns from Maven Patterns and Seasons of East
I met Sharon from Maven Patterns , her husband Richard (from James Tailoring) and their daughters at the Knitting & Stitching Show in October 2019 and loved their patterns. The clean designs that champion vintage fabrics, classic with a vintage style.
Choose from the 50’s inspired French Dart shift dress and Barcelona dress, the 60s inspired Kitty Dress and Good Times skirt. Or softer casual wear such as the Wendy Smock, The Rochester Dress and Simone trouser set. All packaged in a book style envelope that looks great on the shelf.
Seasons of East is is an independent pattern company run by sisters Carol and Barbara. I met them at the Knitting & Stitching Show in October 2021 and loved their patterns. The clean designs that champion vintage fabrics. The designs are classic but definitely have a nod to vintage style, this t-shirt reminds me of the relaxed styles of the 1980s.
Four classic designs to choose from: a wide leg trouser and button through shirt dress (as modelled by Carol and Barbara below). Strap mid-length summer dress and an off the should T-shirt 1980s style. All packaged in an organic cotton bag printed with the London skyline, exclusive to Seasons of East.
